Odds on Ukraine to win Euro 2024

What are the odds for Ukraine to make the Euro 2024 quarter-finals?

The European Championships are just around the corner and Ukraine will be hoping to fight their way through the knockouts. But what are the odds for Ukraine to make the quarter-finals of Euro 2024?

Immediately after gaining independence, Ukraine formed their national football team in 1992 and have already appeared at five major tournaments finals since then. Ukraine’s best World Cup finish came back in 2006 when they reached the quarter-finals of the competition in Germany.

They will be hoping that Germany proves to be a happy hunting ground for then, with Euro 2024 arriving there this summer. In the European Championships, Ukraine qualified for the quarter-finals in 2020 for the first time ever. Check out more of the team’s odds and other odds on Euro 2024 in our sportsbook and make your predictions.

What are the chances for Ukraine to win Euro 2024?

Ukraine have been placed into Group E for the 2024 European Championships, alongside Belgium, Slovakia, and Romania. While Belgium, who are ranked third in the world, are heavy favourites to finish top of the group, second place is arguably up for grabs between the remaining three teams. Ukraine are ranked as the 22nd best team in the world right now, which is higher than Slovakia in 48th and Romania in 46th. On paper, it should be Ukraine’s qualification spot to lose, but football isn’t played on paper.

Ukraine come into Euro 2024 in good form over the past year, with some inspirational performances along the way. While recent wins over Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malta, and North Macedonia are all well and good, it’s Ukraine’s results against the biggest powerhouses in Europe that are more exciting heading into Germany this summer. Over the past 12 months, Ukraine have earned draws against the reigning European champions (Italy), England, and Germany, showing they are more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the higher-ranked sides.

34-year-old Andriy Yarmolenko is still the captain of his country, with Taras Stepanenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko serving as the vice-captains, but Ukraine have a vast pool of elite players in some of the top leagues across the world. Illya Zabarnyi has enjoyed a sensational season for Bournemouth in the Premier League, while Vitally Mykolenko has been impressive for Everton (although he picked up an ankle ligament injury at the end of the campaign). Ruslan Malinovskyi and Viktor Tsyhankov are regulars for Genoa and Girona respectively, while Roman Taremchuk plays for Valencia in La Liga, to name just a few.

Ukraine currently have odds of 1.50 to qualify from Group E, 4.00 to make the quarter-finals, 12.00 to reach the semi-finals and 100.00 to go all the way and win Euro 2024 outright.
